Fellowship At St. Andrews |
Fellowship is all about coming together as a family and getting to know each other better while we have fun! In order to make St. Andrew's remain a "family" as we grow larger, we plan lots of opportunities for people to meet and get to know each other better. |

Pumpkin Patch Every year in October, St. Andrew's receives pumpkins from a Navaho reservation in New Mexico and creates a Pumpkin Patch in thefront lawn of the church. Last year, we sold in excess of 95,000 lbs. of pumpkins and gourds. All of the pumpkins are unloaded from the trunk by hand. St. Andrew's does this not only as a fund raiser, but also as a community service. We set up picture areas for families to bring their children. We have story times during which parishioners read stories in different areas in the pumpkin patch. We also have a "trick or treat" night that the community can attend. Parishioners hand out candy at different stations in the patch. Our pumpkin patch is so well known throughout the Pearland area that St. Andrew's is known as "the pumpkin church". The proceeds from the sale of the pumpkins goes to the Ministry and Mission of the church. |
