Worship At St. Andrews

Traditional Worship Service at 8:00 am

The 8:00 am service features an organ and hymns. The language of this Holy Eucharist (Lord's Supper or Communion) is the Traditional (Elizabethan English) Prayer Book language. Childcare provided through age 5 years (pre-Kindergarten.)

Between Services

Between the services, St. Andrews offers Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults. We also serve a hot breakfast each Sunday between the services. So, fill a plate and bring it with you to class or enjoy it in our Parish Hall.

Contemporary Worship Service at 10:30 am

Our 10:30 am Holy Eucharist (Lord's Supper or Communion) incorporates contemporary music with a live band into the worship. The order of service, taken from the Episcopal Prayer Book, is projected, as are the songs and the lessons. This service has a more relaxed atmosphere. Childcare provided through age 2 years. A preschool worship program is offered for 3 year olds through 2nd Grade.

Typical Sunday at St. Andrews

We Gather in the Lord's Name. Normally, we start with music.
We Proclaim and Respond to Holy Scripture (Bible). This includes Bible readings, music, a sermon, and a statement of belief. Sometimes we incorporate dance, drama, other art forms, and silence.
We Pray for the World and the Church. Prayer is the primary way we listen to God and tell him what is on our hearts and minds.
We Prepare Bread and Wine for The People. This is what Jesus did with his friends.
We Share the Bread and Wine. All Baptized persons may receive the Bread and Wine. Those not baptized may receive a blessing.
We Send Ourselves Back Into The World. We promise God that we will remember him in all we do and are.
